Moving Little Minds in the News

Moving Little Minds has released the results of a yearlong literacy study involving 109 preschool children across seven classrooms. The report, The Power of Intentional Play, highlights significant growth in uppercase letter recognition, lowercase letter recognition, and letter-sound knowledge among children using the Moving Little Minds Literacy Curriculum. The findings demonstrate that intentional, play-based literacy instruction can produce measurable results while honoring developmentally appropriate practice.

Moving Little Minds has launched a game-changing new course for preschool teachers, Playing with Words.  This new self-paced, research-based course equips preschool educators with the tools to teach phonological awareness—the essential “sound skills” children need before learning to read. Moving Little Minds has joined forces with local children's book author, Eden Estabrook to host the inaugural Little Learners Literacy Fest.  The festival will include speakers and local literacy-focused vendors and experts in the field to showcase products, services, and the free offerings from Charlotte.  Read HERE.

Moving Little Minds has launched their new literacy curriculums for preschool teachers!  The innovative curriculums are based on the science of reading and focus on fun and effective lesson plans for alphabetic knowledge, phonological awareness, and pre-writing skills.  Read HERE.
