Science proves that learning the alphabet is most effective through explicit teaching.  This curriculum offers age-appropriate learning and exploration that merges developmental instruction and play.  The hands-on, research-focused activities deliver exposure to the alphabet and key phonological awareness skills using a multisensory approach that will be sure to meet the needs of ALL types of learners. If children are still struggling, the troubleshooting tips are provided to help you along the way!  
 
The curriculum is delivered through letter cycles.  Children will explore letters A-Z through a quick review at the beginning of the curriculum.  Then, we will dive deeper into each letter, focusing on learning 2 letters per week through poetry, practice, movement, and play.  The final letter cycle will include reviewing groups of letters together and children will even begin to explore beginning blending with the letters!  Once complete, teachers are encouraged to assess students and review as needed.  Let's explore and build key skills through instruction and play!
